Who doesn’t love a new eyeshadow palette? I went into town with my amazing blogger friend Kirsty and made a very dangerous visit to Superdrug. We picked up quite a few things, but one of my favourite and most exciting items was the Make-Up Revolution Flawless Palette. I couldn’t wait to try it out.
I have never seen so many amazing pigmented colours in one palette before. There are thirty two colours, with a mixture of matte and shimmer. The shimmer colours are so pigmented and are so gorgeous when applied, and I can guarantee they will last all day long too.
I am never a very daring person when it comes to eyeshadow. I always wear it but it is normally very subtle and casual. I am really into the nude/brown/light pink colours as I find they really suit my skin tone and you just can’t go wrong with them! This palette has so many of those neutral colours which I love. But it does also have a few darker colours in there too if your feeling you need a change, or are a bit bored of the neutrals.
You can make so many different looks with this. I have made a light pink look, a neutral brown copper look, and also a really nice grey/silver look which I am really loving at the moment.
Here are a few swatches I made of some of my favourite shades in the palette:
left to right:
I love using the matte shades for the all over colour on my eyelid, then I will use one of the shimmer shades in the crease of my eye. They really are such pretty colours and I think that everyone would love this palette as there is something for everyone here. And the best thing about this palette, it’s only £8.
You can’t forget the fact that this palette comes with one amazing mirror, so it’s perfect for travelling as you will have all the shades you’ll need, and a mirror. You can’t go wrong with that.
Overall I really love this palette. I was unsure of the quality at first as it is only £8, but they are amazing colours, really long lasting and so pigmented. It’s the perfect dupe for the Naked eyeshadow palette’s if you don’t want to spend £38 on one of those.
I hope you enjoy the palette as much as I do. If you already have it let me know what you think of it.
Love always, Gemma x
