I had been lusting over the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bon Palette for so so long, but I just refused to pay £39 for a few pretty eyeshadows. Oh how I was wrong!

I was super lucky to have received this palette from my family on my 22nd birthday this year, as I didn’t want to spend that much money I thought it would be a lovely gift from someone, and so it was. I instantly fell in love. The packaging is just totally up my street. It comes in a really pale baby pink tin, which looks quite cartoony  and fun.

Inside is just a pretty, it has a great sized mirror in the lid which is perfect if you are taking it away with you whilst travelling. As soon as you open the palette, you get a instant whiff of a really sweet chocolatey smell. That can win anyone over right?!

The colours in this palette are totally up my street. They have a great selection of neutral/nudes, which I love for an everyday look. There are also a few pinky/purple shades too which I think are great for Spring/Summer time, and there are also the darker shades too like the dark brown, purple and a teal colour which is great for a smokey, dramatic look for a night out. I think it’s a great palette if you are travelling as there is a shade for every occasion.

These are a few swatches of a few of my favourite shades. L-R Molasses Chip, Cafe Au Lait, Almond Truffle, Pecan Praline. These are great everyday shades and there is a also a mixture of shimmer shades and matte’s too which is great as I love both. The shades are so pigmented and last all day without any smudging which is every girls dream.

So you know I said that I wouldn’t pay £39 for this palette, I was so wrong. I think the money is totally worth it. This is such an amazing palette with great shades, it smells nice and the packaging is to die for. I am even considering buying the original Chocolate palette as the colours look gorgeous in that one too and I know how good the products are.

What do you think about this palette, is it your cup of tea?

Love always, G x

No doubt about it, it does look very attractive! The colours look great too. I have to say though I wouldn’t be able to justify spending that much on a palette at the moment. Maybe one day 🙂
