Lush Haul & Day out with Vanity Fairest

I feel so lucky to be meeting other bloggers and YouTubers all because of my blog, it’s one of the main reason why I love blogging so much. Myself and the gorgeous Charlotte from Vanity Fairest finally decided to meet up and have a girly day together. We only live about 20 minutes away from each other so it was really easy.

We thought we would hit the shops and have a yummy lunch together,  Charlotte vlogged our day together which you can watch here. We both have youtube channels also so we basically had a major blogging day together.
We had a gorgeous meal at a new restaurant in town called Middletons, I had a chicken caesar salad which as soooo good, and Charlotte had which looks like the best burger ever! We then hit the shops. We didn’t go mad for it, we were actually quite sensible. Lush as we all know have their Christmas range out, and we couldn’t resist the urge to smell every product in the shop, and of course buy a few for ourselves.

The weather was horrendous, it was so windy and rained the whole day but that didn’t seem to get us down. Charlotte and I got on really well, we just seemed to click, like we had known each other for years. I had a lovely day with her and hope to meet up again soon. We said we would meet up again and film some collab videos together which I am really excited about, so make sure you look out for those in the future.

The first product I picked up from Lush was Bah Humbug. This instantly caught my eye as I thought the colours were just gorgeous. This product is a bubble bar, so you just crumble it under your tap to great amazing bubbles. This bubble bar does have glitter but not too much to make your bath look like some glitter explosion, it’s very subtle and turns your bath into a gorgeous mauve/purple colour. Not to mention that it smells absolutely amazing too!

This next product I bought mainly because I just loved the way it looks. This is Holly GoLightly. Probably the most Christmassy bubble bar out there. It is full of glitter unlike Bah Humbug and is topped with Holly, so it just looks so Christmassy and pretty. This turns your bath into a really nice Christmassy green colour with a lot of shimmer in it. It smells just like Christmas. I think I described it as ‘Chritmas trees’ and I love the smell of Christmas trees.

The last product I bought was this bath oil in Hmm Melting Marshmallow. Oh my goodness, this is the most amazing product I have used from Lush so far. It basically is like a little bath melt you just plop into your bath and it melts away, and leaves your skin feeling so smooth and shimmery like you have just applied baby oil all over yourself. The scent of this is amazing, it has extracts of almond oil which is probably why I love it so much as I love the smell of anything with almonds in it. I definitely recommend you getting your hands on this one.

Overall I had a really lovely day meeting Charlotte, especially as we got on so well, and I loved the products that I bought from Lush. What are your favourite products from Lush?

Love always, G x
