I had decided quite a while ago that I would create a post for you guys on my Christmas Party outfit, as our work Christmas party was quite early I thought that you would like to have a peek at what I wore and how I did my hair etc. The only problem was, as our party was on a Friday, and it was a major rush to get ready and get to our venue. So I was unable to take any decent photos of my outfit, I did take a few at the party which I will show below, so I am so sorry that I don’t have any detailed photos.
My dress was from River Island, and I think it was £42 which I don’t think was too bad for River Island, I think they are generally quite expensive now compared to other high street shops. Anyway, I loved this dress. It is in a skater style as I think they suit my figure the most, and the sleeves are off he shoulder with a little criss cross effect on the bust. It is like a silver metallic material, so it really sparkled in the light.
The shoes I wore I adored. They were bought form Missguided. Missguided do the nicest heels ever, and they are really well priced! These shoe boots I wore were £35. They are a shoe boot with a little peep toe at the end, so of course I painted my toe nails and I did them in a midnight black colour. The shoes had lit a laser cut effect all over them. The tricky part was doing them up, they had a lace up back and they were really hard to tie as it was at the back, so I had to get someone to help me. Because they were so hard to put on it stopped me from taking them off which was a good thing as normally they would be off within an hour! I am not grew with wearing heels for a long time…
I decided to go for simple Christmassy makeup. I wore my Rimmel lipstick in the colour In Love With Ginger which is such a moisturising lipstick, the only thing is that I felt it smudged most of the night and I had to keep checking that it hand’t smudged all over my face! I contoured my cheeks and wore my new favourite highlighter ever which is from KIKO. I think I will do a post on that as I love it so so much. On my eyes I used my Flawless palette from Make-up Revolution and did a warm toned look. I really like the bright red lips for Christmas, you have to for Christmas really!
So that is my outfit for my early Christmas party. I hope you liked my look. I am sorry that I couldn’t get any better photos as we just had hardly any time to get ready what so ever.
What are you wearing for your Christmas party?
Love always, G x
