I don’t know about you, but I am a real sucker for an amazing highlighter. For my birthday I was super lucky and received the Benefit’s Watt’s Up highlighter. I had been after this for sooooo long. I am super happy with it and love wearing it at the weekends for a super bronzed glowy look.
This is a stick cream highlighter, and the shade is a gorgeous champagne gold glowy colour. I love using this at the weekends to give the perfect sun kissed glowy look. The Benefit Watt’s Up is £24.50 and you can purchase it here. If you’re looking for an alternative highlighter which is a bit less pricey, I have found a really good dupe. It is in the same formula, a stick cream and has almost exactly the same effect and finished look.
The KIKO Radiant Touch highlighter in the shade 100 Gold, which you can purchase here I bought this highlighter before I had Watt’s Up, and I have to say it’s pretty good. When you put them both together, they look almost exactly the same colour. Once this is applied on the skin, the colours are slightly different. The product itself is an amazing dupe and for an amazing £8.50, if you don’t want to splurge on the Benefit’s Watt’s Up, you should definitely go for the KIKO one.
They both apply in the same way. The creamy consistency glides on with one swipe, you can build up the colours if you want too for a more dramatic look, I personally love doing this as I love a really glowy highlighted look.
The left swatch is Watt’s Up and the right is the KIKO highlighter. As you can see the Watt’s Up is slightly darker than the other, which gives you a more bronzed look, and the KIKO highlighter is a bit lighter for more of a fresh look.
I really love both of these products and am glad that I have both. But I do feel that the KIKO highlighter is a really great dupe for the Benefit’s Watt’s Up if you’re looking for a really pigmented, stick cream highlighter for a great price, this is definitely for you.
Love always, G x
