I was super excited when an email came through inviting me to an event for the brand Saturated Colour. I had never heard of the brand before so I quickly went online to check it out. The website instantly drew me in and, I quickly replied with a yes please!
It was based in Essex which is great for me as I live in Essex so it wasn’t too far to travel. Of course I went with my best friends, and also a blogger Kirsty. We were really lucky with the weather. England seems to be having some kind of heat wave at the moment, it was about 22 degrees, I know, in England! The actual place it was held was gorgeous. It was a barn style building filled with beams, and that is actually their offices too-I wish my office looked like that!
The girls at Saturated Colour really made us feel welcome, they started with an introduction about the brand and how they evolved. It is a family run business, and the girls picked all the colours and branding themselves, and made it from scratch basically. Also all the products are animal cruelty free, which is great as I think a lot of us girls always go for the brands which are animal cruelty free. It makes them that little bit better! (If they could get any better) The brand mostly consists of lip products, but they also have a couple of mascaras and are looking at expanding their products too.
The products they have are all so pigmented, and have the most amazing colours. There is something for everyone! I personally really love their nude/pink colours. I specifically love their shades First Date and Passionate Peach.
In the barn the girls had set up a Selfie Station too which was great fun, who doesn’t love a Selfie Station?!
There was also a competition where the group was split into three, and we had 10 minutes to create some lip art on our own lips with a few of their products. I found this quite difficult as I am not an arty person at all! But It was a lot of fun and the winner’s lips were incredible.
The end of the day we were all given a personalised goody bag which I think was really thoughtful as they had picked out a couple of products they thought would suit each person individually.
I want to say a great thank you and well done to the girls at Saturated Colour. I will definitely be purchasing some more products soon and I am going to be going a pull blog post review on the bits that I bought soon, so keep an eye out for that also!
Please go and check them out, they are amazing!
Love always, G x
