Products that have saved my hair

I feel really lucky that I have such a good relationship with my hairdresser. I know that sounds silly, but my hairdresser, Amy (who is amazing!) will always tell me the truth about my hair, what she thinks she should do, what will work what won’t work, and I love that about her.
Amy has moved hairdressers a couple of times now, and I have always followed her to where she is going as I don’t think I can trust anyone else with my hair like I trust her. She now owns her own salon, called Rhapsody Hair and Beauty  which is just incredible and I am so proud of her.

Amy’s salon is a girls paradise, her theme is very fashionable and trendy with brick walls, prints, colourful art and of course her amazing dog, Rex. If you’re looking for a really trendy and up-to date hairdressers, definitely check her salon out, you really won’t regret it.

Amy was really kind and gave me a few product to try on my hair that she recommended for me, and I can’t tell you enough how incredible they are.

I had never been a mousse or hairspray sort of girl, they kind of scared me. I thought mousse was just for curly hair and though hairspray made your hair look hard and plasticfied. Amy suggested this mousse to me, you put a small pump into your hand and run it through the ends of your hair whilst it is still damp, then once blow-dried, you are able to style it, straight or curly, however you like. The mousse really helps hold the style you are going for and it doesn’t brush out, so you can style it over and over again. This is great for me as I don’t wash my hair everyday and sometimes I like it straight, and other times I love it curly. So it is such a great product to use.

Now for the hairspray, who hates the smell of their hairspray? I know I did, until I tried this one. This hairspray smells more like a room spray rather than hairspray, it’s gorgeous. It also holds your hair really well, without making it look hard and cracked, your hair still looks so smooth and glossy. The best bit is, you can brush the spray out so easily without it making your hair feel greasy or needs washing again. I don’t think I will use any other sort of hairspray again!

My hair really tends to go crazily frizzy once blow-dried, and it’s really frustrating sometimes when all you want to do it blow-dry your hair and step out the house. This soft glam smoothing polish has saved me from this. Just apply a small couple of drop into your hand, and run through the ends of your hair. It really makes your hair feel smooth and glossy, without leaving it feeling greasy and gross!

All of these products are from a brand called, Osis+. I had never heard of them before, but if Amy recommends them, I know they will be amazing and work really well with my hair.

At Rhapsody Hair and Beauty, you can get the whole package at just £85.  This will also include an in salon treatment and fibre flex, which is a fortifying mask. This is an anti age treatment when she colours the hair, it will stop your hair from getting damaged when being coloured all the time. This is £15 on top of the normal colour price as you also get a conditioner to take home too!

Amy’s Rhapsody Hair and Beauty salon is totally up my street, and I feel so lucky to have her as my hairdresser. Please go and check out her Facebook page which you can visit here.

Love always, G x
