I have never done one of these update style type of posts, but I really love reading others as I really like to get to know the bloggers who I am reading everything about. A few exciting things have happened recently so I thought that I would share with you what has been going on, because if you’re anything like me, you’ll love to be nosey.
Okay, first things first, my job. I haven’t changed jobs, or got a promotion or anything like that but my job title has changed. My title was Vendor Support Co-Ordinator, and I am now a Vendor Support Administrator. Not much has changed really, but my jobs roles have changed and what I do on a day to day basis. It’s not my dream job but hey it’s getting me by until I move onto the next chapter in my career.
Next up has to be what happened this past week. One of my Youtube friends (who I had never actually met before) Naomi, really kindly invited me to a press event in Paris. It was to a launch party of the new Alcatel A5 LED mobile phone. It was totally amazing and such a good experience for me. I had never even got the train and tube in London before on my own, so I was really nervous, But we met the other girls in London and headed off on the Eurostar. The other girls who went were lovely, and I feel so honoured to have met them all. I got some great tips from them for my blogging and youtube life, and feel so much more motivated about it all. I just can’t believe little old me, from Essex went to Paris for a press event, and I really had the time of my life there. I just want to say thank you to Naomi again for inviting me there. I feel like my thoughts on blogging and youtube have changed completely and I feel so much more motivated to do well at it and hopefully make a career out of it. So Paris, was a massive confidence boost for me, and I think it may have changed my life!
Okay the last life changing moment that happened, was we went to pick a new puppy! I am so in love with this new puppy. She is a gorgeous little basset hound, in the red & white colouring. We have named her Wilma and she is absolutely gorgeous. As you may or may not know, we lost our Westie, Lilly last year due to old age, and our house is just not the same without a dog. We didn’t want another dog like her, we wanted something completely different, look wise and personality. A basset hound was the perfect fit for us. So we went and picked Wilma, I don’t know how we managed to choose really as I wanted them all! It’s really lovely as we can go and collect her at the end of May, but the people we are getting her from have a Facebook group and they are posting loads of updates of the puppies so we can see how she is getting on even though we don’t have her yet.
I am 100% a sucker for dogs, I love them. Small, big, cute or sad looking. I love them all. So now we just have to wait until the end of May until we can take her home, and of course I am going to make her, her own Instagram account so I will be sure to let you know what that is! She will also be featuring in in loads of my videos too, so look out for her!
I really enjoyed writing his update post, it will be great to look back on in the future too.
See you sometime in the future! Love always, G x
