I think we have established that Summer is officially over, and it is slowly getting colder and colder – which is the perfect excuse to cosy up every evening, hide away in your bedroom and binge watch some Netflix. But what to watch? Well I have you covered…
Autumn and Winter is the perfect excuse to watch Netflix, you don’t have to feel guilty about not wanting to do anything in the cold and dark evenings, no-one can judge you, as they will probably be doing exactly the same thing at home too.
The ultimate chick flick – in series form. This will keep you going through until next Summer! This series has the best amount of girl power, friendships, romance, break ups an drama that a girl can want. I had never seen Gossip Girl until it came onto Netflix, and I was hooked from the start! You don’t need much concentration, just make sure you’ve got your hot choccy and lots of snacks!
By far my fave. I remember when the first season cam out and there was a massive hype, but I never really got it. Until one day I caved and me and boyfriend decided to give it a go. We were hooked from the start! Knowing that this is a si-fi- programme really put me off, but I couldn’t believe how much I was enjoying it. Stranger Things is, well, strange. You have to watch it to find out! By far one of my favourite programmes ever (not forgetting Game of Thrones and PLL!)
Oh Riverdale, I was waiting for a series like you to come out of the woodworks soon. Not your typical high school programme. This has some very dark and mysterious turns, which makes you keep asking yourself questions over and over again, so the best thing to do? Just keep watching. You’ll be hooked in no time!
The Vampire Diaries
Again, I started this a while after the massive hype about it, and oh boy I wish I had joined in on it. The Vampire Diaries is one of my favourites too! I love every single character, the story lines are great and it never gets boring. Who ever thought Vampires could be so mysterious and, good looking? You have a lot of season with this one so you better get watching quick! Series 8 has just come out on Netflix (today!) so I know what I’ll be doing…
13 Reasons Why
Controversial. I personally loved 13 reasons why, and I love the meaning behind it all and think it made a lot of awareness. But I also know a lot of people hated it and thought it was doing the opposite. So you can make your own mind up about this one. A great watch, but also very hard hitting – not one to watch when you’re at your most emotional.
All of these choices are very different, but are all my favourites in different ways. They all have very different emotions so perfect for whatever mood you’re in!
What’s your favourite thing to watch this time of year?
Love always, G x
