The make-up that I buy over, and over again.

What girl doesn’t love trying out new make-up? I love it. But I think we secretly all have those particular products which we always seem to get drawn back to and re-purchase everytime, well I know I do! I have a few make-up essentials that I just can’t bare to be without, and nothing can compare! So I’ve decided to put together this post to let you know my staples products, that I head to all the time and will always re-purchase.

First off is The Body Shop All-In-One BB Cream. I think I am on about my 3rd tube of this now, I recently got a new one for Christmas which was perfect as I was just running out! I love this product so much, I wear it pretty much every day (apart from the weekends) I call this, my work face. I use the BB cream everyday when I got to work, it gives me colour, coverage, but not too much, and not too cakey for work! I find it a lot lighter too. I prefer using this on the weekdays as my nice foundation is quite pricey, and want to wear that when I am actually going somewhere a bit more exciting, and fun, and will probably be taking pictures! This BB cream is perfect for a light base, and gives you that coverage too. What I love the most about this, is that it adapts to the colour of your skin. The product itself is white, and when applied you can see it turning into a nude shade, which matches your skin perfectly, and you don’t have to worry about which shade to get, they do have 3 shades as an indication which one to get depending on the natural colour of your skin which I think is great. It’s also a great price! Just £13.00 for a bottle, and this can last you quite a long time. It does me and I practically use it everyday. Definitely one of my all time favourite holy grail products.

Next has to be my mascara. I find it really hard to find the perfect mascara, and its taken me a while to find this one which works great for me. I have to say, I love the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, that is actually my favourite ever. But because of the price, I always go for the L’Oreal Paris Miss Baby Roll mascara, much more affordable and does the same job. I have bought this mascara 4 times now I think, its great. Not too clumpy, not too watery, and you can add more layers to create a more dramatic look. I have used this for years, I think when it first came out! Other than getting the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara now and then as a treat, the L’Oreal one is a great everyday easy to apply and look great mascara.

Concealer! Now I used to use the ever so famous Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, but I was never really that happy with how it looked under my eyes. Yes it brightened them up, but the concealer would always crease under my eyes, and leave me with what looked like huge wrinkles under my eyes. I always found myself rubbing it to get rid of it as it just didn’t look great. Then when I heard about the Revolution Conceal and Define, I had to try it and see what the hype was about. I loved it straight away! It didn’t leave the cease under my eyes, and still brightened my eyes up! So that was it, I was converted to the Revolution concealer. As I used it quite a lot, I did find it ran out quicker than expected, but they have recently launched a supersize version! So Last time I need my concealer I bought this version and it’s still going, so I would definitely recommend buying the supersize version.

The last thing I want to mention might actually come as a shock! But it is the Mac Creme D Nude Lipstick.  I feel like this is my colour, it’s me in a colour. This shade was my first ever Mac lipstick, and I have loved it everyday since. I have actually bought another one of these, which means I use use it a lot as lipsticks last for so long! So this is part of the Cremesheen collection, which means there is a creamy finish. It isn’t sticky, and is so moisturising on the lips. I describe it as a very girly and cute shade, definitely my fave Mac lipstick ever! But don’t get me wrong, I love loads of other shades too! I love their Matte shades which are a bit darker for Autumn/Winter, and I love the corals too. I wear any lipstick colour really, depending on my mood and the season! This is a perfect first lipstick, you can use it for the day or the evening, just to make you pop.

So there you have it, the products which I will religiously buy, and think I always will, until I find something even better. But until then, I think i’ll stick with these thanks.
